History, Mission & Values

HISTORY

With our first project, Inglewood Corners in 2000, Todays Communities marked a new beginning for multifamily living in the Calgary area.

As with every Todays Communities’ project, Inglewood Corners defined itself through architecture that complemented and enhanced the neighbourhood in which it was built.

Royal Oak Estates, Villas of Evercreek Bluffs and Eversyde Park are just a few of the projects that have continued to build upon a reputation of success.

Todays Communities is proudly part of Unity Builders Group, one of the fastest growing homebuilding companies in North America.

MISSION

With integrity as the cornerstone of our business and quality at the forefront of each of our developments, our mission is to build homes that enhance the communities in which they are built. Committed to building and sustaining internal and external relationships, committed to continuous improvement within every facet of construction, Todays Communities will lead the way in customer satisfaction.

CORE VALUES

  • Building quality homes that reflect integrity and a commitment to our customers.
  • Sustainable growth through well cultivated processes and procedures.
  • Development of relationships on internal and external levels.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt within several markets.
  • Continuous learning and improvement on both professional and personal levels.

COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN

Calgary Police Rodeo Association (CPRA)

We are involved with the Calgary Police Rodeo Association (CPRA) as a major sponsor with all proceeds supporting “The Missing Children of Canada”. This organization just celebrated their 25th annual fundraiser.

We are involved with this organization throughout the year, and for many years to come.

Calgary Fire Department Pipe Band Memorial Fund

We are also a Partner of the Calgary Fire Department Pipe Band- Memorial Fund, commencing January 2008, for a term of one year.

The Memorial Fund was initially established to cover the personal expenses of pipers and drummers who traveled to play at memorials and for line of duty deaths. The fund has since expanded to cover a number of band related expenses and is also the primary source of charitable donations made on behalf of the band. This is the only Pipe Band in Canada whose members are all Fire Fighters.
